Louisville Beauty Academy: Making National Waves in Beauty Education – SEPTEMBER 2025
Louisville, KY – The New American Business Association proudly highlights Louisville Beauty Academy, founded by Di Tran, for achieving national recognition as one of America’s Top 100 Small Businesses for 2025 by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce CO—100 Awards.

Out of a highly competitive pool of over 12,500 applicants nationwide, only 100 businesses were selected, and Louisville Beauty Academy is Kentucky’s sole representative, showcasing the school’s exceptional leadership, innovation, and mission-driven impact.
Recognized in the Enduring Business category, the academy has demonstrated long-term growth, sustainability, and resilience while remaining committed to accessible, debt-free beauty education. Louisville Beauty Academy offers instruction in English, Vietnamese, and Spanish, empowering immigrants, women, and underserved individuals to achieve professional licensure without financial burden.
Since its founding, the academy has graduated nearly 2,000 licensed professionals, contributed up to $50 million annually to Kentucky’s economy, and partnered with local salons, workforce agencies, and community organizations to ensure graduates have meaningful career opportunities and upward mobility.
Di Tran, an immigrant entrepreneur, continues to set a national standard for affordable, inclusive, and high-quality vocational education. This recognition positions Louisville Beauty Academy as a model for beauty education nationwide, demonstrating how mission-driven businesses can create both economic and social impact.

“We are proud to bring this recognition home to Kentucky and honored to serve students and communities nationwide,” said Di Tran. “Our goal is to continue breaking barriers and empowering the next generation of beauty professionals.”
