When Community Service Is Seen: LBA Receives Special Congressional Recognition

NABA Community Spotlight: Strong communities grow when education, licensed work, multilingual access, and small-business opportunity are connected to the everyday realities of working families.

On September 30, 2026, Louisville Beauty Academy welcomed Congressman Morgan McGarvey, who represents Kentucky’s Third Congressional District, and members of his team for a nonpartisan workforce-education listening visit.

During the visit, Congressman McGarvey presented LBA with a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition given:

“in recognition of your outstanding and invaluable service to the community.”

The certificate is dated September 30, 2026, and signed by Congressman McGarvey. LBA receives it as a call to keep serving—not as a claim that the work is finished.
